Since Britain is in Europe, I suppose this upcoming release from Icon Home Entertainment is really a Eurotrash release of sorts. This release contains "Adventures of a... Taxi Driver, Plumbers Mate and a Private Eye" It's out on June 2nd with an RRP of £19.99! Bawdy British humour at it's best (!).
Another image from the upcoming GI Joe Movie, this time it's Scarlett to go along with Snake-Eyes. All in all looking good despite having Stephen Sommers directing (Van Helsing anyone?), I can't wait to see more characters (Zartan especially) revealed to satisfy my inner 12 year old mind that used to play for hours with GI Joe toys!
Good news! 10,000 Bullets, one of the best movie genre sites is now staying on the good old Interweb, with the webmaster having a change of heart due to all the well wishers out there. Looking forward to more great reviews soon! In fact click the logo and read all about Pinky Violence and one it's main protagonists Meiko Kaji!
One of the members of the international jury at BIFFF'08 (Brussels International Festival of Fantastic Film 2008) was legendary Italian director Umberto Lenzi. Despite a very productive career that spanned forty years and saw him working in genres as diverse as peplums, spy movies, westerns, gialli, war movies, polizieschi and more, he always gets associated with his cannibal movies Cannibal Ferox and Eaten Alive. For this interview I took the opportunity to talk about his gialli and polizieschi.
Note that this interview contains spoilers for Knife of Ice, Seven Bloodstained Orchids and Eyeball.
Culling the DVD Collection at the moment so off to eBay with some of them! Take a look HERE if anything catches the eye! More will be added soon I suspect!
