AVPlay is go!

"AV Play is born of AV Forums. With an impressive archive of informative and entertaining DVD reviews from the AV Forums website, and with the added functionality of a powerful search engine written by AV Forums owner and computer programmer with 20 years experience, Stuart Wright, AV Play launches with impressive content.

Phil Hinton (former news editor and reviewer for Total DVD Online), who you may know as the AV Forums Editor and reviewer for the last 4 years, as well as host of the AV Forums podcast reviews, will take on the role of AV Play editor. Joining Phil is our assistant editor and games guru Seth Gecko, who has been writing for the AV Forums for the last 18 months. Seth will be expanding our gaming news and reviews, as well as bringing HD DVD reviews to AV Play.AV Play, while having over 6,000 reviews online is not complete.

We already have the news and review search functionality and the ability for visitors to compile their own favourite movie list, but as they say, the best is yet to come, when we will have plenty more functionality including DVD wish lists and comparison pages.We will also be expanding the content, aiming to add at least 40 new reviews each month and publishing some of the earliest HD DVD and Blu-Ray DVD reviews on the Internet."
