DVD News: It's Garry Shandling Show

Before The Larry Sanders Show there was just Garry Shandling himself and it was a milestone in the evolution of comedy as a TV genre, IT’S GARRY SHANDLING SHOW set the standards for future shows such as SEINFELD, CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and THIRTY ROCK. Wittily removing the barrier between fiction and real life, IT’S GARRY SHANDLING SHOW revolved around a series of autobiographical sketches performed by Garry Shandling himself, many times with the aid of the studio audience. The inclusion of unpredictable real life scenarios and characters lent itself to the show’s great appeal over its four season run. This release brings together the complete first series of this timeless TV gem.
